I had the opportunity to travel to Nebraska in November and visit some wonderful friends. Here’s a few photo’s. And I left the rest at home so I'll have to blog again.

I had a chance to run up the hill and take a few

picures of the water dropping aircraft re-filling. Thankfully the fire is still a distance from my house but many of my friend's homes are right next to the fire.

Snow

After 18 years, it finally snowed in Santa Clarita.

When I arrived at work, I noticed some storm clouds south of us moving west. I had hoped we would get some rain but the skies to our east were clear. It didn't look promising for those of us who love rain. To my surprise, clouds eventually moved over us and instead of rain they brought sleet. I ran back in to the building to get my camera and took a few short video's but as the temperature dropped sleet turned to snow. For three wonderful minutes we experienced genuine 100% snow flakes.

Okay, I'm ready for the normal 70 degree temperatures again.

Disneyland

Friday marked another work Christmas party at Disneyland. Here's few photo's:

Everyone I talked to said the same thing about Splash mountain... " I don't remember getting that wet before". Fortunately, whoever took this picture missed the wet half of us.

Hello, nothing new but I have some pictures of my vacation to New England from 2 years ago:

The other day I was thinking to my self, "Self, why is it that even though there are only seven days in a week, and I wash my clothes every weekend, I still have 15 to 20 shirts to wash every time". I haven't come up with an answer yet.

Railroad history

Yesterday before I flew home from Omaha, I visited the site (or close to it) of the east end of the Trans-continental Railroad; and the home of the worlds largest locomotive.

Trip to Omaha, NE Day 1

Hello everyone. I thought I'd take a few days off from work to chase tornadoes and visit friends. So far no tornadoes, but having a wonderful time visiting friends. Here's some photo's of a water fountain and our boat ride into the spray zone.

My friends have reminded me that I don't blog enough. In response to your inquiries; generally, it is helpful to have something happening in your life to write about. Hense the long gaps... I did visit my brother recently and took this picture of his dog. With the exception of his front foot he looks more like a rug or a toy. That's my exciting life for this week!
